As someone new to the world of blogging, I’m curious about what blogs I should be reading – specifically blogs that might be helpful for philanthropy and nonprofits. Whom do you recommend? I should note that I do not have (or have not made) time in my life to read numerous blogs on a daily basis – but I do like to scan a few through my Google Reader or follow their tweets via Twitter to get quick bits of information.

Beth’s Blog: How Nonprofits Can Use Social Media – Prolific and great thought-provoking stuff – if you can check out just one blog, make it this one!
Philanthropy Front and Center – Cleveland – From the Foundation Center – a great way to keep tabs on what’s happening in grantmaking in the Cleveland area.
Chris Brogan community and social media – Interesting, fast – be sure to check out his great set of advice and tips for better blogging.

I love Philanthropy 2173. I am also a really big fan of “Tactical Philanthropy”, run by Sean Stannard-Stockton. He evaluates news and innovations in the philanthropy community.
